In 2024, Mondå Forlag celebrated its 10 years anniversary. During these 10 years we sold more 100 000 books and grew from publishing our own books about the Norwegian culture to publishing book from a variety of authors and themes in Scandinavia. Through the years we worked with six authors and three illustrators to create 10 books in English with translations to Norwegian, French and Chinese.

 

In 2024, we printed 20 000 books which included two new titles, one translation, one new edition and four re-print.

 

We broaden the scope of the publishing house by releasing our first book on language High on the Pear: Funny Norwegian Translations and on parenting Where Babies Sleep Outside (by Cécile Moroni).

 

Book sales through bookshops increased by 37%. We also increased sales to tourist shops, on Amazon, on our websites and direct sales to companies which resulted in an overall 53% revenue increase in 2024.

In 2025, we plan on publishing one new title in English and release a new edition of Nordmenn uten filter in Norwegian and a new edition of The Swedes.
